The Quest - Mithril Horde serves as an expansion to The Quest, presenting a meticulously hand-drawn open-world role-playing game with classic grid-based movement and turn-based combat mechanics.
Upon activating this expansion, players gain access to new areas and adventures. Interestingly, if you do not possess The Quest base game, you may still enjoy the expansion as a standalone gaming experience.
Assuming the role of a Savirian veteran from the doomed Lukomorian war journeying back home to the west, your liege, Lord Yuz, ruler of the Urtseki Principality—the westernmost region of the Mithril Horde—summons you to aid in reclaiming independence from the Horde. Immersed in a realm of both brutality and splendor, will you be able to guide your people to victory?
To unlock the new territories (excluding players undertaking standalone play), one must venture to Matras harbor and converse with Captain Verra. Subsequently, opt for "Horde I" as your designated travel destination. It is advised that players reach at least level 21 to confront the demanding trials awaiting them within this expansive add-on.
